Dhanell Azada

Dhanell Azada earned her Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from Samra University in Los Angeles where she interned at their clinic for two years. She received her license in the state of California in 2002. Before graduating, she completed an externship program in Beijing, China under the tutelage of Dr. Xinnong, an acclaimed master acupuncturist and chief editor of the textbook, Chinese Acupuncture and Moxibustion (CAM). CAM is one of the official textbooks used in the state board and national exams.

As a licensed acupuncturist and Chinese herbologist, Dhanell approaches treating her patients with an open mind, compassion and a holistically integrative perspective. She is passionate about helping people restore optimal health, function and strives to educate them to maintain balance in their life. Findings and treatments are tailored using a blend of Traditional Chinese medicine techniques like, acupuncture, herbs, cupping, tui na and gua sha (a form of bodywork), qigong and nutritional therapy.

To assist her patients in achieving their health goals, Dhanell also integrates adjunctive therapies such as muscle testing, energetic balancing, nutritional and lifestyle recommendations as well as an innovative, natural solution for allergies and allergy-related conditions, called NAET. She has over fifteen years experience and success in treating conditions such as migraines, sports injuries, gastrointestinal and respiratory disorders, and the subspecialties of pediatrics, allergies, women’s health/infertility and degenerative diseases.
